The owner of the old Jaffa harbor (in Israeli dialect: Yafo) changed many times during the years. Medium-bronse age ruins, churches, wall remnants appear here and there and the marine peoples (i.e. hordes Mongolians and Tartars in the of 12th century B.C.E.) visited this area.

Marom Budapest organizes a celebration for the 100 anniversary of Tel Aviv, by the concert of Ilan shaper Israeli guitar player, who plays Jewish-flamenco and the gipsy Gusztáv Balogh, founder of the band Nomada (link) The duo will be followed by the unique Hagesher band, who play nu Jewish music and make people dance!

The 9^th of May marks two important events: It’s the “Europe Day” and it used to be the remembrance of the sieg of the Soviet troops against the Nazi army, ending World War II.
